Job Summary

Senior SDET Engineer (Automation)

1. What is this role This is a senior-level automation testing role. The person is expected to: -

Build and maintain test automation (not just run tests) - Work like a software engineer - Focus mainly on Java API automation.

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years (mandatory)

2. What will the person do :-

Test Automation: - Write automation code using Java - Use JUnit (or similar tools) - Create clean reusable maintainable test scripts -Cover API service and integration testing
API Testing: - Test REST APIs - Validate requests responses errorsedge cases - Work closely with backend teams
CI/CD & DevOps: - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Work with Bamboo / Bitbucket Pipelines - Ensure tests run automatically on builds/deployments
Git & Collaboration: - Use Git for branching commits code reviews

3. Must-Have Skills (Very Important)

Strong Java (good coding & OOP skills)
JUnit (or similar Java testing frameworks)
REST API Testing
Git / Version Control
CI/CD / DevOps knowledge

Without Java API automation Not suitable

Microservices knowledge

Contract Testing (PACT)
