Accountant - Industrial Machinery Division
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Accountant for the Industrial Machinery Business Unit.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records for the Industrial Machinery Division.
Prepare and analyse monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Record and monitor machinery purchases sales and inventory transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable related to machinery operations.
Track project costs machinery maintenance expenses and operational budgets.
Prepare cost analysis reports for machinery imports repairs and installations.
Coordinate with the procurement and sales teams regarding machinery transactions.
Ensure compliance with company policies tax regulations and accounting standards.
Assist in preparing budgets forecasts and financial planning for the division.
Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks associated with machinery projects.
Reconcile bank accounts and ledger balances regularly.
Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field.
Full/Part professional qualification (ACCA CIMA CA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Minimum 25 years of accounting experience preferably in manufacturing engineering or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge in accounting principles financial reporting inventory accounting and project costing is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines.
