The role

As a Contract Manager Field Services youll support the delivery of essential electricity network maintenance across Auckland. Working alongside Senior Contract Managers youll own defined elements of our field services contract portfolio and act as one of the key daytoday links between Vector and our field service providers helping ensure work is delivered to plan budget and regulatory requirements.

In conjunction with the assigned Senior Contract Manager youll manage contractor performance support forecasting and budgeting and operate within a complianceheavy environment while still contributing ideas to improve how work is delivered. As your capability grows theres opportunity to step up and provide cover for Senior Contract Managers.

Who are we looking for

• Experience and/or qualification as a line mechanic cable jointer or similar is essential
• Experience in electricity distribution utilities field services or tradesadjacent roles (including progression off the tools) is strongly advantageous
• Practical deliveryfocused experience in contract management project delivery or a closely related operational role
• Confidence managing contractorled delivery models and building strong collaborative working relationships
• Experience working in regulated or compliancedriven environments with the ability to balance process discipline and improvement
• A customerfocused wenotme mindset with curiosity accountability and willingness to learn new systems and tools
