Position Information:

The Facilities & Maintenance Projects Coordinator provides oversight of leases tenants finances grants budgets work orders and projects for the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Departments. This role bridges the gap between facilities operations maintenance activities and state-mandated reporting. Additionally this position ensures compliance with the Washington State Clean Buildings Performance Standard and OSPIs High-Performance School Buildings Program for buildings across the school district.

Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 260 day calendar
Continuing Position:Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However an employees total work hours work locations and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hourly Rate: $43.32per hour(2025-2026Professional - Technical Employee Salary Schedule)
Position Type/Level: Professional - Technical Employee Level C

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

And one of the following:

At least two (2) years of progressive work experience coordinating facilities operations projects and/or community use; OR
Associates degree in Facilities Management Construction Management Building Automation or Integrated Systems Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in facilities management facilities engineering event planning or similar field.
4 (more than four) years of work experience as a facilities use coordinator in a public education school district.
At least 1 (one) year of experience supervising casual/temporary employees.
