Medical Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology -Stockton CA
Lead a dynamic collegial team of anesthesiologists and parter with Nursing and OB leadership in this regional referral/high-acuity program. Leading Academic hospital system with Magnet nursing designation. Beautiful Sacramento area with four-season recreation and easy access to Napa Valley.

- $13690.48 weekly
Practice Environment:
- 2 Obstetric Operating Rooms
- 8-10 Labor & Delivery Rooms
- 3000 deliveries annually
- Level III NICU (30 beds)
- Primary Assignment to Obstetrics with periodic rotation to cover main OR and NORA environments
- Collaborate with obstetricians nursing and hospital leadership
- Participate on monthly QI QC and PI safety committees and obstetrical and perinatal committee meetings
- The Anesthesiology department is diverse consisting of 12 physicians and over 30 independent-practice CRNAs providing services for up to 16 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs cardiac ORs obstetrics GI/endocathlab interventional radiologya hospital ambulatory surgery center and a new venture with a local orthopedics surgery center.
Qualifications:
- Active state license
- BC/BE in Anesthesiology
- Obstetrical anesthesia experience required
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
- Experience working in a high-acuity obstetric environment
- ACLS BLS
- DEA
