Job Summary
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our group at Franciscan Heath Heart Center Michigan City located in Michigan City Indiana. Interested candidate will join an extensive cardiology team.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have 1 years of IMCU CVU and inpatient cardiology experience with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Clinic and stress test experience is preferred. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
IMCU CVU & inpatient cardiology experience is preferred
Clinic and stress test experience is preferred not required
Flexible full-time schedule with potential weekend coverage
No call expectation
Average inpatient volume: varies
Strong mentorship available from seasoned providers already in practice

Qualifications:
Masters Degree - Required
Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
