You will conduct routine patrols observe and report conditions help to deter incidents and assist visitors through clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a public park and community recreation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical situations and/or suspicious activity and notify the appropriate parties as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of park grounds facilities restrooms parking areas trails and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access to restricted or staff-only areas when assigned assist with rule compliance during public programs and/or special events and provide directions and information to patrons.
• Complete detailed reports of observations incidents hazards and/or maintenance concerns and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffs pepper spray and/or baton are preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
