Description As a Program Specialist II at Honeywell you will support the delivery of government programs by coordinating program activities ensuring compliance and strengthening communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.
You will report directly to our Program Manager and youll work out of our Herndon VA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role you will impact the organization by contributing to the successful delivery of programs ensuring compliance with standards and facilitating communication across teams to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities- Support planning and execution of government program activities ensuring alignment with requirements standards and contract obligations.
- Maintain program documentation schedules financial trackers and status reports.
- Assist with budget monitoring cost analysis and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with government customers subcontractors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain program alignment.
- Track risks performance metrics and quality assurance activities to ensure delivery expectations are met.
- Support preparation of briefings contract deliverables and audit-ready documentation.
- Assist in negotiating terms resolving discrepancies and supporting compliance with federal and organizational procedures.
- This position is incentive eligible.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- 3 or more years of experience in program or project support roles.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with project management or reporting tools.
