Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Direct all facility activities including grain handling storage drying blending and load-out processes
- Quality & Inventory Control: Monitor grain condition through testing and sampling while maintaining accurate inventory records
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold OSHA environmental and state regulations to ensure a safe clean and compliant workplace
- Team Leadership: Recruit train schedule and supervise staff to maximize efficiency and performance
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers supporting grain purchasing and marketing efforts
- Facility Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment such as conveyors legs and grain cleaners
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of grain handling storage and agricultural operations
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with grain grading equipment and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing lifting and working in confined or dusty environments
Preferred Background
- Experience in agriculture agribusiness grain operations or logistics
- Relevant certifications (e.g. OSHA grain handling) are a plus
