Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We currently have an opportunity for a Day of Operations Maintenance Planner within our Airworthiness Department. In this role you will be tasked with planning scheduled and unscheduled Day of Operations Line Maintenance.
Your responsibilities will include forecasting and development short-term projections of fleet maintenance requirements. This will involve scheduling the accomplishment of maintenance tasks Airworthiness Directives & Service Bulletins and ensuring all scheduled maintenance is completed on time. Using your experienced gained in a similar role you will build work packages by preparing task cards part & tool requirements.
Additionally you will update routine & non-routine tasks in the scheduling system and developing and employing creative solutions to overcome scheduling and AOG issues. You will liaise with others within the CAMO Engineering and Operations to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance activities and maximise aircraft availability.
Youll have:
- Strong aviation engineering related experience
- Understanding of Airworthiness Regulations including P42/P145 planning requirements
- Strong organisational analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to implement corporate processes and procedures to ensure compliance
- Effective written and verbal communication skills high attention to detail and strong teamwork capability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Trax or Maintenix advantageous
- LAME qualification or other suitable aircraft maintenance experience (desirable)
