The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas equipment dishes and utensils. This role supports daily kitchen operations by ensuring cooks and chefs have clean tools and workspaces. The Steward also assists with waste disposal organization and occasional basic prep tasks. This position is essential for maintaining a safe efficient and compliant kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Wash dishes pots pans utensils and equipment using dish machines and manual methods.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces floors drains and stations.
- Empty trash recycling and compost containers regularly.
- Operate commercial dishwashers safely and efficiently.
- Restock clean plates utensils and cookware to proper stations.
- Support cooks with basic prep tasks as assigned.
- Follow all sanitation food safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain proper chemical handling and PPE use.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
- Food Handler Safety Training Card (Health Card).
- High school diploma or general education degree GED.

- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Required to pass a background screen drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
