Job Summary
Join the team at Marriott Orlando Downtown as a Steward where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is ideal for individuals dedicated to supporting a high-quality dining experience through thorough sanitation and organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen dishwashing and storage areas.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean organized and in good working order.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in an efficient manner.
- Work closely with culinary and service teams to support daily operations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
