Pastry Chef de Partie (Temporary)

Chocolate & Pastry Production

• Paints shells fills and caps chocolates with precision and consistency.
• Assists the Pastry Chef in preparing breads lunch and dinner desserts.
• Supports preparation of savory dish components as needed.
• Ensures all items are produced according to recipes guidelines and chef standards.
• Conducts quality control checks on all components before they leave the kitchen.

Inventory & Ingredient Management

• Receives inspects and properly stores all inventory items.
• Accurately weighs and measures ingredients according to recipes and guidelines.
• Ensures proper storage of ingredients and finished products to maintain quality and freshness.

Food Safety & Sanitation

• Adheres to strict food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP protocols.
• Maintains a clean organized and safe work environment always.

Team Support

• Mentors and guide junior team members on proper techniques and dish preparation.
• Problem-solve efficiently when issues arise in the kitchen.
• Interacts professionally with customers and guests during events classes or demonstrations.

Qualifications :

• 3 years of pastry experience in a restaurant or hotel setting; Michelin experience is a plus but not required
• Current Food Handlers Certificate
• Deep passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to excellence and precision
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective problem-solving skills; solution-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated ability to maintain clean safe and efficient work practices
• Culinary school education is preferred but not required

Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour. Final compensation is dependent upon skills and experience.
