Job Summary
BobBoyte Auto Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team on the Mississippi Gulf this role you will oversee the acquisition pricing merchandising and sale of used vehicles ensuring a profitable and well-maintained inventory that meets the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the used car market.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the used car department.
- Acquire quality used vehicles through auctions trade-ins and wholesale channels.
- Set competitive pricing to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Oversee vehicle reconditioning and ensure all used cars meet company standards.
- Lead and develop the used car sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and sales reports.
- Collaborate with finance service and sales departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or in a similar automotive sales management role.
- Strong knowledge of the used vehicle market and pricing strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced performance-driven environment.
