Were looking for a Staff Hardware Engineer to join our Research and Development Centre located in Wigram Christchurch.
The Staff Hardware Engineer will be developing technology for the next generation of Enphase micro-inverters.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Research and develop new power electronics technologies for Enphase micro-inverters and related products
- Specify design and test new product designs
- Bring up and characterise early prototypes
- Provide mentoring and technical direction to product development teams
Skills and Qualifications:
- BE BScMastersor PhDin Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years minimum experience in developing products from concept stage to market launch
- Experience designing high frequency magnetics and advanced power converters
- Experience designingpoweranalogueor digital electronicscircuits
- Knowledge of circuit schematics PCBlayoutand simulation tools
- Exposure to PythonCor FPGA designwould be considered an advantage
- Exposuretotaking products through international compliance testing
