Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Area Patrol in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an armed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with calm clear communication. You will build strong relationships with site personnel and visitors while supporting a culture that is agile reliable innovative people-first team-driven and grounded in integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols at regular and random intervals throughout buildings production areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access at gates doors and checkpoints by verifying identification and credentials processing visitor entries and documenting deliveries and pickups in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications supporting evacuations and coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity access control actions and incident response and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
