The Role:

Were looking for a passionate and curious Scientist II to join our team. What Youll Do:

• Drive scientific innovation and execute CLD strategies for client and partner programs.

• Design and execute cell line development workflows including stable cell line generation single-cell cloning and IND-supporting documentation.

• Support MCB/WCB manufacturing and ensure alignment with CMC requirements.

• Contribute to technology development initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce cost of goods.

• Mentor junior scientists fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity.

• Serve as a functional lead on complex client or technology projects

• Identify develop and implement next-generation CLD technologies (e.g. genome editing automation high-throughput systems).

• Author and contribute to regulatory submissions patents publications and represent Just at external conferences.

Who You Are:

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline with 1 years of experience BS with 7 years of experience or Scientist I or equivalent with 3 years of experience.

• Demonstrate proven experience in mammalian cell culture (CHO preferred) molecular biology and stable transgene expression.

• Optional experience with expression construct design for complex biologics (mAbs bispecifics fusion proteins).

• Familiar with first-in-human cell line development activities

• Have hands-on experience with automation data systems and high-throughput workflows.

• Have experience in technology development genome engineering (CRISPR) and next-gen sequencing.

• Demonstrate ability to work independently in a higher-risk technology development environment and to usher high level abstract scientific goals from concept to project completion.

• Have exceptional communication and leadership skills with ability to present to diverse audiences including senior leadership.

• Have passion for innovation and commitment to improving global access to biotherapeutics.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $100000 to $115000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
