We are immediately hiring a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to support our Mansfield TX manufacturing facility. This position will work Monday - Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

We are seeking an individual who is comfortable working directly with production equipment enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving directly on the plant floor and brings a solid foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5s Standards.
  • Maintain production equipment in the plant including Tower Line 1 Line 2 and Sieving/Kitting equipment
  • Maintain support department equipment in Shipping Quality Maintenance and front office. This will include forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain plant infrastructure equipment such as air compressors dust collectors and electrical distribution systems
  • Manage surrounding grounds and equipment such as landscaping lighting and irrigation system through 3rd party service providers.
  • Work on new equipment installations modifications and fabrications
  • Coordinate maintenance (preventive predictive and corrective) and spare parts inventory through the plant CMMS
  • Fully understand production positions (including Control Room) within the plant and be able to substitute in if necessary
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems within the plant

Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills

  • Forklift and hand truck experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to work overtime weekends and multiple shifts
  • Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and in various temperatures
  • Must possess an excellent work ethic including good attendance
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with supervisors maintenance and other employees
  • Must be able to work as a team on process improvement issues focusing on safety quality and productivity
  • Must be able to give and follow directions clearly
  • Ability to stand sit and walk for extended periods of time occasionally kneeling and bending
