Mechanical Supervisor 23 per hour Permanent Role
Locations: Aylesbury & Dartford
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of our clients with long-term projects based in Aylesbury and Dartford.
This is a permanent PAYE position offering 23 per hour with a minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed providing stability consistent work and excellent career progression within a growing engineering sector.

Role Overview
As a Mechanical Supervisor you will oversee planned project works and maintenance programmes ensuring work is delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard. You will lead site teams provide technical support and act as a key link between operatives management and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site mechanical works and day-to-day operations
- Carry out dynamic risk assessments and identify health & safety hazards
- Mechanical fault finding and problem solving
- Oversee and support mechanical installations
- Plan daily works and allocate appropriate resources
- Provide technical guidance to site operatives
- Liaise with clients and project managers regarding access and planning
- Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate site records/diaries
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed and incidents are reported
- Carry out site surveys and attend client meetings
- Manage stock levels of materials and consumables
Requirements
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Strong experience within an on-site mechanical engineering environment
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Good working knowledge of pumps motors pipework and related systems
- CSCS card or equivalent
- Additional certifications (EUSR IPAF PASMA Confined Space Abrasive Wheels) beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Proactive reliable and able to perform under pressure
