Mechanical Supervisor 23 per hour Permanent Role
Locations: Aylesbury & Dartford

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of our clients with long-term projects based in Aylesbury and Dartford.

This is a permanent PAYE position offering 23 per hour with a minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed providing stability consistent work and excellent career progression within a growing engineering sector.

Role Overview

As a Mechanical Supervisor you will oversee planned project works and maintenance programmes ensuring work is delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard. You will lead site teams provide technical support and act as a key link between operatives management and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise on-site mechanical works and day-to-day operations
Carry out dynamic risk assessments and identify health & safety hazards
Mechanical fault finding and problem solving
Oversee and support mechanical installations
Plan daily works and allocate appropriate resources
Provide technical guidance to site operatives
Liaise with clients and project managers regarding access and planning
Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate site records/diaries
Ensure all safety procedures are followed and incidents are reported
Carry out site surveys and attend client meetings
Manage stock levels of materials and consumables

Requirements

Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
Strong experience within an on-site mechanical engineering environment
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Good working knowledge of pumps motors pipework and related systems
CSCS card or equivalent
Additional certifications (EUSR IPAF PASMA Confined Space Abrasive Wheels) beneficial but not essential
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
Proactive reliable and able to perform under pressure
