Job Summary

Pine Bluff Materials in Sivells Bend Texas is currently recruiting a Plant Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to join our operations team. The candidate selected for this role will report to the Sivells Bend location on a daily basis.

Position Overview

The Plant Maintenance Technician / Mechanic is responsible for the inspection repair and preventive maintenance of equipment used in sand processing operations. This role ensures the plant operates safely efficiently and with minimal downtime by maintaining crushers conveyors pumps screens and other production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned downtime.
Lubricate adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inspections and part usage.
Monitor equipment condition and report potential issues before failures occur.
Assist with maintaining a clean hazard-free work environment.
Participate in safety meetings training and emergency response drills.
Ensure that all repairs and modifications comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist with plant startups and shutdowns.
Support equipment installation upgrades and modifications.
Perform general labor or operational tasks when needed.

Qualifications

Required:

Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems welding hydraulics and industrial equipment.
Ability to operate maintenance tools cutting torches welders grinders and lifts safely.
Experience with conveyors crushers and rotating equipment highly preferred.
Ability to work outdoors and lift 50 lbs regularly.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred

Prior experience in industrial sand aggregates mining or dredge-based extraction systems.
Welding experience is a plus.
