Systems Operations Specialist

Role Responsibilities -

As a Specialist you will deliver software solutions and provide rotational shiftbased production support while collaborating with global Nasdaq teams.

L2/L3 production support for Linuxbased environments and applications.

We perform deepdive troubleshooting and RCA for application OS and infrastructure issues.

Linux system administration and troubleshooting (CPU memory disk I/O processes networking)

We proactively monitor detect and resolve production issues using monitoring and observability tools.

Experience in crafting deletion and troubleshoot of AWS EC2 instance and EBS volumes

Handson ownership of AWS production environments including:EKS / Kubernetes (application & cluster troubleshooting)

Knowledge of AWS Lambda S3 FSX services Batch processingand state machines

An exposure to work with Terraform to lead and maintain AWS infrastructure as code!

Performing Application Deployments using puppet Ansible Gitlab and bit bucket as per Change Management Processes.

Develop and integrate process automation tools using Bash/Python.

Awareness and Solid grasp of Prompt Engineering and Agentic AI concepts

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)

• Proven experience of 4-7 years of handson experience in Linux/Unix production environments
• Demonstrable experience with AWS cloud technologies (EC2 Lambda S3 Batch State machines)
• Exposure to Container Tech on EKS Kubernetes clusters
• Expertise level experienced with Zabbix Grafana and Splunk monitoring tools. 4 Years.
• Mid-Level experience Configuration management tools including Puppet and Ansible (5y)
• Strong scripting knowledge in Bash Python and exposure to Jira GIT/Bitbucket tool. 5 years.

Work will be Rotational shift-based to support European and North American business hours!

Weekends: Minor Critical Deployment Support Rotational On-Call once in 8 Weeks. Timings are indicative only and should be flexible to accommodate as per changing business needs.

It would be great if you-

• Exposure to Terraform. Intermediate.
• Exposure to SQL Datadog.
• Networking protocols such as TCP/IP networking and routing.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in an equivalent discipline.
