Job Summary

The Round Lake Area Park Districtis seeking a friendly reliable individual to oversee our Childrens Neighborhood Museum during open hours throughout the year. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to earn supplemental incomein a fun low-stress and rewarding environment.

Our Childrens Neighborhood Museum is a tot-sized replica of a town designed especially for young this imaginative space kids ages 16 explore community roles through interactive areas like a market gas station and doctors office.

Position Schedule:

Mondays & Tuesdays: 3:457:00 PM
Wednesdays: 12:153:00 PM
Saturdays: 8:1511:30 AM

Additional hours may be available based on rentals and special events.

This position also serves as a backup Rental Attendant on Saturdays providing additional opportunities for hours.

What Were Looking For:

At least 18 years old
Outgoing energetic and welcoming personality
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with families and young children
Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations
Interest or experience in education childcare or youth programming is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and create a positive welcoming environment
Maintain a clean organized environment by restocking and sanitizing materials before during and after use or rentals
Support rentals as needed

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with children values flexibility and is looking for a consistent part-time position to supplement their income.
