Job Summary

Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Compensation
Pay Rate: $70/hr $75/hr (Based on Experience)
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Schedule
Shift: 8-Hour Rotating Shifts
Shift Times:
10:00 AM 6:00 PM
11:00 AM 7:00 PM
3:00 PM 11:00 PM
4:00 PM 12:00 AM
Workdays: Monday Friday Rotating Weekends
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. This role involves patient preparation image acquisition and ensuring high-quality diagnostic results while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The technologist may also assist with advanced procedures including ultrasound-guided biopsies.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms
Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures
Position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Perform ultrasound exams and ensure image quality and accuracy
Monitor patient condition and provide compassionate care during procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and properly label imaging studies
Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures (e.g. biopsies)
Ensure proper equipment functionality and supply management
Follow infection control safety and facility protocols
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Required Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Technology Program
Certifications:
ARDMS Registered (Required)
Abdomen (RDMS-AB)
OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN)
BLS Basic Life Support (Required)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience (Preferred)
Experience in Abdomen and OB/GYN imaging (Required)
Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures (Preferred)
Additional Requirements
Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and patient care
Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and image quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care
