Job Summary

A well-regarded and thriving secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic DT ECT to join its successful Design & Technology department from September. The Role

The school is looking for an enthusiastic DT ECT who can deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire creativity and develop students technical skills. The successful DT ECT will benefit from a structured induction programme and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities of the DT ECT include:

  • Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning engaging lessons covering design processes materials and manufacturing techniques

  • Supporting students in developing practical skills and design thinking

  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues within the DT department
