Job Summary
Join Sogelink Netherlands and grow your finance career in a collaborative team. You will handle the accounting of Dutch entities support statutory audits and contribute to improving processes while developing your skills and gaining experience.
What you will do
Perform monthly and annual closings for Dutch entities in coordination with other accountants.
Prepare annual financial statements and assist with statutory audits.
Submit VAT Intrastat and other regulatory reports accurately and on time.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on unusual items.
Analyze cash flows and provide insights to support operational decisions.
Execute ad-hoc analyses to assist the team and management.
Contribute to process standardization and efficiency improvements.
Book accounts payable invoices and support accounts receivable activities.
Who you are
You hold an HBO degree in Accounting Finance or equivalent.
You have 35 years of experience in a finance role ideally in an audit firm.
Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting regulations and IFRS.
Solid experience in general accounting including accounts payable/receivable and debtor/creditor management.
Familiarity with treasury activities and payment processes.
Good understanding of local tax compliance (VAT statutory reporting).
Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel (experience with AFAS is a strong advantage).
Excellent analytical skills meticulous and highly responsible.
Proactive problem-solver organized and thrives in an international team.
Fluent in English; Dutch fluency or strong experience with AFAS is required.
