The Role
The school is seeking an analytical and detail-focused Data Manager to lead on the collection analysis and reporting of student data. This is a critical role within the school supporting senior leaders and teaching staff in using data effectively to drive student progress.
You will be responsible for managing the schools data systems and ensuring that all information is accurate accessible and used to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the schools data systems and databases
Produce accurate reports on student progress attainment and attendance
Support the assessment cycle including data collection and analysis
Provide data insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
Train staff on the effective use of data systems
Develop and improve data processes and reporting systems
Requirements
Previous experience in a data-related role (education sector desirable)
Strong analytical and IT skills including Excel and MIS systems
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
