What you will do
As a Senior Financial Accountant you will take ownership of accounting activities for the Polish commercial entity and act as a trusted financial partner to local and regional stakeholders.
- Lead accounting activities including preparation maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Prepare analyze and report accounting transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and local policies.
- Oversee the Accounting & Reporting process across ERP and Hyperion systems.
- Review journal entries and reports prepared by GL accountants to ensure highquality output.
- Maintain strong internal controls (SOX) and support audit processes (internal and external).
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Polish requirements and support tax compliance (VAT statistical filings).
- Drive and implement process improvements standardization initiatives and crossdepartmental collaboration (Cash Intercompany AP).
- Provide leadership and team support including coaching team members coordinating escalations and supporting hiring activities.
What you need
- Bachelors / HBO degree in Accounting or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Fluency in Polish and English both spoken and written.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems (SAP Oracle or similar).
- Shared Service Center experience (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of SOX internal control frameworks and ideally familiarity with US GAAP.
Salary information will be provided during therecruitment process.
