Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the supervision and coordination of the UO Command Centers along with assist in other Emergency Management functions. Provides support and supervision in regards to the training of all Security Dispatchers to ensure the Command Center team is current on all required courses as well as up to date with all policies in order to provide the best service to our guests and team members.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the UO Command Center in the fielding and dispatching of critical calls to ensure the safety of guests and team members. Monitoring of all life safety alarms and phone calls into the Command Center.
  • Responsible for execution and constant evolution of the Dispatcher training program. Ensures company standards and policies are maintained with staff and enforced within the workplace as it relates to security matters.
  • Performs daily administrative duties that include but are not limited to Performance Counselings Attendance Tracking Scheduling Performance Evaluations (both quarterly and yearly) and Kronos (Time and Attendance Monitoring).
  • Assist with Emergency Management functions such as fire drills responding to emergencies training of team members and emergency management preplanning.
  • Assist with Command Center staffing shortages and provide break coverage when needed by working the positions in the Command Center.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years in knowledge of policies and procedures for the park and knowledge of Security required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A background check is mandatory and results must meet Universal Orlandos background check criteria.
