In our optimized CIP Platform CIP Terra Technologies a project delivery company delivering projects from onshore wind solar PV and battery energy storage systems to bioenergy thermal and transmission infrastructure is currently looking for a Commercial Associate to join the team in Metro Manila Philippines.

Team

As Commercial Associate you will become a part of the Commercial Management team of CIP Terra Technologies in the Philippines. This team is responsible for driving the commercial offtake financial and transaction-related work necessary to advance onshore renewable energy projects in the Philippines through origination development and execution

Role

The Commercial Associate will contribute to the development structuring and execution of investments in greenfield renewable energy infrastructure projects in the fast-growing economies across Southeast Asia where we sees scale growth and liquidity. You will work closely with a highly experienced team in a truly global environment. The work is project-driven and encompasses all aspects of the infrastructure investment process including sourcing and acquisition financing and exits.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

• Develop and manage financial models reviewing economic and financial assumptions.
• Provide support in work-streams involved in investment due diligence project development & financing and divestment processes.
• Support negotiation of agreements and contracts.
• Conduct research on counterparties markets and assets.
• Collaborate with and manage external advisors and partners including legal financial and technical experts to execute investments.
• Develop analysis and high-quality presentations for internal decision makers and external stakeholders.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the direct manager

You

We are looking for a motivated individual with 3-6 years full time experience in M&A financial advisory project development or infrastructure investments holding bachelors/Masters degree in Finance Accounting Business Economics or other. Financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex high-quality error-free financial models

• We are looking for a skilled collaborative and methodical professional with a relevant masters degree.
• Collaborative skills with the confidence to exercise judgement appropriately engaging with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
• Proficient quantitative and analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Solid corporate finance knowledge particularly in valuation and financial modelling.
• Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work well in challenging situations and manage assigned duties.
• Extensive experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
• A motivated mindset characterized by sustained effort self-initiative and a focus on producing outcomes.
