40Summary:
The Outpatient Audiologist provides comprehensive diagnostic ENT and rehabilitative audiology services in a clinical setting to pediatric patients with hearing disorders age birth to 21. The role emphasizes family-centered care long-term management of hearing loss and interdisciplinary coordination with ENT and speech-language pathology teams. Works closely with the child family and interdisciplinary teams including school personnel to recommend and implement a plan which enhances a childs functional hearing to facilitate learning and development.
Education and Experience
Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au. D.) or PhD in Audiology from an accredited college or university.
Licensure Registration and/or Certification
Current state licensure for Audiology required.
Current BLS required.
