We are open to considering qualified Speech-Language Pathologists as either employees or independent contractors
Duties and Responsibilities:
The SLP works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules testing schedules and annual meetings.
The SLP also supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list.
NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as resource room inclusion and/or pullout services.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and Disorders and
- Limited Speech Language Pathology License issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs LARA); or
- Speech Language Pathology license issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
Candidates with experience working with at-risk students is preferred if applicable to the school.
NHA is only registered for state employment purposes in the following states: Arkansas Colorado Florida Georgia Illinois Indiana Louisiana Maine Michigan Nebraska New York North Carolina Ohio Pennsylvania South Carolina South Dakota Texas and Wisconsin.
