As a Security Officer - Convention Center Patrol in Phoenix AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a resort and hotel location you will monitor and patrol guest areas and back-of-house spaces complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff with professionalism communicate clearly and document observations and/or concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests staff and vendors by following site-specific procedures access control practices and security-related protocols at a hotel and resort location and when appropriate supporting emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including guest disturbances suspicious activity medical calls and/or property-related concerns and communicate updates to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies hallways parking areas amenities and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor assigned areas for policy compliance support orderly guest traffic flow during peak check-in and event periods and assist with lost and found and/or guest service requests as directed.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation and use radios phones and/or other systems to coordinate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
