We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Modeler to design and develop scalable data models that support enterprise data architecture and analytics initiatives.

Behavioural Competencies :

Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements
Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and develop conceptual logical and physical data models to support enterprise data architecture.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database structures and schemas.

Develop and maintain data dictionaries metadata and data lineage documentation.

Collaborate with data engineers architects and business stakeholders to ensure proper data integration and consistency.

Optimize data models for performance scalability and maintainability.

Ensure adherence to data governance data quality and data integrity standards.

Perform impact analysis for changes in data structures and maintain version control of data models.

Support data warehousing reporting and analytics initiatives.

Participate in database design reviews and architecture discussions.

Work with ETL/ELT teams to ensure proper data flow and transformation alignment with models.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

---Must-Have Skills----

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (Conceptual Logical Physical).

Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Experience with data modeling tools like Erwin ER Studio or PowerDesigner.

Strong proficiency in SQL and database design principles.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema Snowflake Schema).

Experience working with ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes.

Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

----Good-to-Have Skills----

Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop Spark Hive).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake Redshift BigQuery).

Knowledge of data lake and lakehouse architectures.

Exposure to BI/reporting tools (Power BI Tableau).

Understanding of DevOps/DataOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Basic scripting knowledge (Python or Shell) for data handling. your needs.
