Synergie Australia are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our clients Darwin workshop ensuring safe efficient operations while fostering team development and exceeding customer expectations.

The Role

As Workshop Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of tradesmen apprentices and support staff to ensure safe high-quality work completion

• Managing all back-office functions including job scheduling invoicing compliance and reporting

• Coordinating customer interactions and maintaining strong client relationships to drive repeat business

• Overseeing procurement workshop housekeeping equipment inspections and statutory compliance

• Mentoring and coaching personnel to ensure skills development and efficient work practices

• Preparing budgets monitoring labour utilisation and reporting monthly variances

• Collaborating with Engineering Sales and Administration teams to meet company objectives

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in supervising a workshop or mechanical team

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements for workshop operations

• Excellent leadership coaching and communication skills

• Experience in hydraulics general machining or mechanical systems (highly desirable)
