Job Summary

Manager of Corporate Accounting / Remote / *NC Candidates Only*

Banyan Search is partnering with a fast-paced dynamic organization in their addition of a Manager of Corporate Accounting. Our client is seeking an experienced accounting manager to lead core financial accounting functions ensure GAAP compliance and drive process improvements across the organization. This hands-on leadership role involves managing a team while staying actively engaged in complex accounting work and partnering with business leaders to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting budgeting and forecasting
Lead Accounting team and monthly close activities to ensure deadlines are met and process is efficient
Review journal entries account reconciliations and financial reporting packages
Assist on SEC filings and disclosures (10K 10Q)
Monitor budget variances and provide actionable financial insights
Maintain and improve internal controls policies and procedures and assist with process improvements and documentation
Lead special projects aligned with departmental and organizational goals

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
6 years of accounting/finance experience including 3 years in a leadership role
Proficiency with NetSuite Blackline or similar tools; advanced Excel skills
Strong knowledge of GAAP internal controls and audit processes
Excellent communication analytical and team development
