As a Security Officer - Patrol Officer in Greensboro NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support students staff and visitors with clear communication helpful directions and professional customer service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an educational campus location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and campus activity assist with directions and general inquiries and help manage visitor entry in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical calls disturbances suspicious activity and fire or intrusion alarms and request additional resources as needed.
• Document patrols incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
