Job Summary

Summer Camp Counselor -AlphaBEST Education

At AlphaBEST our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide youll lead them through fun learning activities with plenty of support and training.

Schedule: Monday-Friday No Weekends! Summer Camp will run from May 30 to August 10. (estimated dates)

$16.25 per hour

In this exciting role youll be trained and have the opportunity to do the following:

Be responsible for running a single classroom of 25 children in its entirety (with 1 Class Assistant for support)
Directly oversees Class Assistant
Provide behavior management that includes developing and implementing a positive incentive system for a classroom
Help support the Class Assistant with leading program activities
Communicate any/all concerns with Camp Director
Ensure that your group adheres to the daily schedule arriving at activities on time and cleaning up in a timely manner

Heres what you will need:

Must be at least 18 years old
A minimum of 460 hours of experience leading a group of children (this will need to be verified if hired)
Must be able to successfully complete background checks as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
Good leadership & communication skills
Experience working in a summer camp setting is preferred

Interested in working during the school year There is always the potential for summer employment to roll over into the school year as well!
