The Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for meeting project requirements with the overall objective of analyzing business needs and translating them into clear requirements for the development teams.

The ideal candidate is expected to meet and work directly with stakeholder/s to gather project requirements and define scope; evaluate the impact performance and outcome of business requirements; manage and control change requests concerning the existing project plans; monitor development and review deliverables; and any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager or Delivery Head.

Your Team

You will work closely with our business partners the household brands in technology such as Amazon Web Services Google Cloud Microsoft and Outsystems.

Your Responsibilities:

Facilitate communication between the business and technology areas to address business issues
Partner with technical staff to interpret the needs of the business assist in the design of the solution and deliver the expected result to our business partners
Communicate with our business partners in an effective and timely manner
Ensure written documentation is clear understandable audience-appropriate and accurately captures key information required for a quality solution that meets business needs
Take ownership of support/project issues and engage the appropriate resources to reach a solution
Ensure potential issues are tracked and escalated on time
Participate and promote knowledge sharing customer service quality innovation and teamwork
Gather document examine and manage business requirements on small baseline initiatives by following the current company development methodology which involves managing/facilitating business requirements sessions conducting interviews and maintaining or creating documentation
Coordinate or participate in obtaining estimates from all team members and provide those to the business for review and approval for small baseline initiatives
Perform testing for minor enhancements before production moves

About You

You are/have:

Bachelors/College Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or related field
Proven experience driving analysis of complex business problems and opportunities and making recommendations for solutions that align with business objectives
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
Ability to work independently and proactively
Analytical and inquisitive with excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated work style with strong adherence to deadlines
Experience with Agile methodologies (scrum safe etc)
