Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide data-driven insights and analytical support across the energy value chain to facilitate strategic operational and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial technical and operational data and develop financial models for renewable energy projects.
- Assist in the preparation of board-level and investment committee materials ensuring effective communication of complex analyses to stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders maintaining quality standards and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Support project teams with consolidation and analysis of information carrying out research and due diligence activities for energy projects.
- Develop techno-commercial modeling tools and conduct financial analysis for project valuation and risk assessment.
- Participate in project finance activities including reviewing model assumptions project agreements and providing financial inputs for documentation.
- Facilitate risk management by conducting risk assessments focusing on financial technical commercial and environmental risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies while engaging in continuous learning to adapt to legislative and market changes.
- Foster effective working relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to support project execution and performance improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (Honors) in a relevant field (Essential/Minimum)
- First Line Management Certificate (Recommended/Desirable)
- 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling project development project valuation and scenario analysis (Essential/Minimum)
- Proficiency in renewable energy technologies (wind solar BESS) and their operational drivers
- Experience with data analytics visualization and reporting tools
- Exposure to renewable energy projects across various stages: development construction operations
- Knowledge of financing accounting legal and technical principles for structuring and valuing large-scale renewable energy projects
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills with experience preparing board-level and investment committee materials
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams with business development engineering finance and operations
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced evolving sector
