Job Summary
Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location: Ocala FL
Position Type: Permanent
Schedule: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation & Differentials:
Base Salary Range:
Minimum: $32.00/hour
Mid-Level (8 years): $40.00/hour
Maximum (17 years): $48.00/hour
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $4.25/hour
Weekends: $3.00/hour (Friday 11 PM Sunday 11 PM minimum 4 hours worked)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a dynamic and fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker able to manage multiple priorities and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in urgent and complex situations.
Responsibilities:
Perform triage assessment and treatment for patients across all age groups.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Prioritize and manage multiple patient cases effectively.
Deliver safe and efficient emergency nursing care.
Provide patient education discharge planning and follow-up instructions.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (Med/Surg PCU ICU or ED).
Licensure:
Active Florida RN license OR Compact RN license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if relocating).
Certifications (Required):
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (within 6 months of hire)
