Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Marietta OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will manage access control verify credentials issue badges and help maintain accurate entry logs. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under the AU Driver Policy Requirements with routine mobile presence and responsive communication to support site operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at an industrial chemical location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification authorizations and vehicle credentials and by issuing and collecting visitor badges and passes as required.
- Monitor alarms cameras radios and other access control systems and communicate required notifications to site contacts according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas such as gate lines staging areas and perimeter routes reporting unusual conditions and/or potential policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
