Role Summary
A reputed boarding school in Uttarakhand is looking for a passionate and skilled Japanese Language Teacher to introduce and develop students proficiency in the Japanese language. The role involves teaching language fundamentals cultural aspects and communication skills while creating an engaging and immersive learning environment.
The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the Japanese language along with the ability to inspire students in a residential school setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Japanese language to students across assigned grades.
- Develop lesson plans focusing on reading writing speaking and listening skills.
- Introduce students to Japanese culture traditions and basic etiquette.
- Conduct interactive sessions activities and language exercises.
- Assess student progress through assignments tests and practical evaluations.
- Encourage participation in language-based activities and events.
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with academic staff and participate in school activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Certification or degree in Japanese Language (JLPT preferred).
- Prior teaching experience in boarding schools or language institutes is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with students in a boarding environment.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Basic computer knowledge for academic and reporting purposes.
