This on-site contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare services while working in a dynamic environment.
As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to our patients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of promoting womens health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough examinations and assessments for obstetric and gynecological patients
- Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions affecting womens health
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary adhering to best practices and safety protocols
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices and technologies
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Participate in patient consultations and follow-up appointments
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
- Previous experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferably in a locum tenens role
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a inpatient call or 8a-5p in clinic
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Inpatient Volume: 1-6 deliveries
Outpatient Volume: 18-25 patients
Must be board-certified
