Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Geometry Lead to manage and drive all geometry-related activities within a vehicle development project. This role involves leading a team of geometrists ensuring vehicle geometric convergence and acting as the primary interface with the client for all geometry topics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality geometric performance ensuring compliance with perceived quality targets and supporting overall vehicle integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of geometrists

  • Act as the main point of contact for the client on all geometry-related matters

  • Ensure achievement of perceived quality objectives (fit & finish gaps and flushness)

  • Drive and validate Best Fit vehicle targets and geometric convergence

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with geometry KPIs for the assigned scope

  • Report project status and client formalization related to geometry performance

  • Oversee and coordinate all MAPEX-related activities within the project

  • Contribute to cross-functional alignment with engineering teams (body exterior interior manufacturing etc.)



Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or a related field

  • Proven experience in vehicle geometry dimensional engineering or body integration

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle geometry tolerancing and dimensional management

  • Experience with gap & flush perceived quality and Best Fit methodologies

  • Familiarity with automotive development processes and vehicle integration

  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g. CATIA V5/V6) and geometry analysis tools

  • Knowledge of MAPEX or similar geometry management processes is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment

Languages

  • Minimum professional proficiency in English (required)

  • Additional languages are a plus
