Responsible for the preparation of food items and specialty dishes designated by pre-planned menus. Assures that presentation is timely and meets quality standards. Communicates to management the need for supplies and equipment. Responsible for maintaining clean works area and ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed. Assures quality production levels are maintained. Assists I the control of food and labor costs by eliminating waste and over production. Receives food orders and prepares according to desired request. May be required to rotate to various locations to relive cooks for breaks or call-outs.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum five years experience in all areas of kitchen. Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job.
