R.J. Corman Railroad Company has an opening for aRailcar Repair Team Memberat itsTowanda PAlocation.

Accountability:Performs mechanical repairs including cutting welding and overall mechanical aptitude. Railcar inspections andrepairs will be documented for verification and to ensure the work is being done correctly and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Welding cutting and mechanical type repairs
• Forklift operation
• Understanding of documenting work performed and recording material usage
• Ensure that paperwork for railcar repairs is complete and correct
• Ensure that repair jobs are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure that vehicles and shops kept clean andsafe
• Ensure that the employees are working in a safe manner
• Assist with inspection and repairs as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:Railcar mechanical experience preferred must have a background in welding and cutting. Must have a valid drivers license good communication and people skills demonstrated ability to develop team work and work with all levels of personnel in achieving our goals.

Environmental and Physical Requirements:

• Able to perform physical strenuous work

• Able to frequently bend stoop kneel and crouch

• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs

• Requires occasional use of 30lbclaw bar requiring application of 50lbsof force

• Requires occasional use of 10lbsledge hammer requiring application of 75lbsof force

• Able to walk climb and maintain balance on equipment stairs ladders uneven terrain rails and ballast in a safe manner

• Able to navigate into confined spaces if necessary

• May perform dutiesin indoor shop oroutside environments in and around moving locomotives railcars vehicles and equipment

• Frequentexposure to weather elements

• Wearing of appropriate PPE required
