Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced aircraft system diagnostics and fault isolation
- Execute complex structural and mechanical repairs
- Lead troubleshooting efforts across multiple aircraft systems
- Conduct functional checks and return-to-service verifications
- Review and validate maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior mechanics
- Ensure compliance with technical directives and maintenance policies
- Support Quality Assurance and safety investigations when required
- Interface with government maintenance leadership and program stakeholders
Qualifications
- FAA A&P Certificate required (or documented military equivalent)
- 5 years aviation maintenance experience
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and systems-level expertise
- Experience in high-tempo operational aviation environments
- Preferred experience working on USCG aircraft
- Strong documentation and compliance discipline
- Ability to obtain/maintain required security clearance
