Lead the pricing function for Partnership channel and Group business ensuring robust governance compliance and innovative pricing strategies. Drive product launches regulatory engagement and team development to achieve company growth and profitability. The role requires a dynamic approach supporting cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Pricing
Lead end-to-end product development and pricing for the Partnership channel and Group business ensuring alignment with company targets.
Deliver regional product approvals OIC filings and profit testing results per actuarial standards. Maintain strong governance and risk management for partnership pricing.
Collaborate with product sales and operations teams to align pricing with business goals and market trends ensuring effective risk management and delivering pricing solutions that support mutual growth.
Enhance governance and control of the pricing cycle.
Improve pricing processes and Prophet models for efficiency and effectiveness.
Support new initiative projects and provide pricing expertise to other teams as needed.
Group Business
Develop and implement pricing strategies for group insurance products including employee benefits and corporate solutions.
Work closely with partnership distribution team to tailor group offerings and ensure profitability.
Monitor group product performance and adjust pricing models to reflect market dynamics and client needs.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with OIC regulations and industry standards.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on pricing strategies.
Represent the company in TLAA and OIC meetings handling related requests.
Performance Analysis & Management
Monitor and analyze product and channel performance to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Work with the Regional Pricing Team.
Team Development
Mentor and manage a high-performing pricing team fostering continuous learning and improvement.
Support team growth through guidance and skill development.
Promote collaboration and open communication to drive engagement and minimize barriers.
Flexibility & Cross-Team Support
Provide pricing support and expertise to other business units as required.
Adapt to changing business priorities and participate in cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics or related field (Masters preferred).
Fellow or Associate of a recognized actuarial society is a plus.
Minimum 10 years of actuarial pricing experience preferably in life insurance.
Strong knowledge of OIC regulations and industry standards.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management abilities.
