Job Summary
Pay rate -$40 per hour
Hours of work:Rotating roster - Monday to Friday overtime and weekend work during busy periods
Dayshift - 7am - 3pm
Afternoon shift - 3pm - 11pm
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled printer to operate and maintain our5 colour Heidelberg CDpress. You will play a key role in producing high-quality printed products to tight deadlines ensuring consistency accuracy and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up operate and monitor a5 colour Heidelberg CDsheetfed offset press
- Produce high-quality work in line with job specifications and colour standards
- Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Manage ink plates and materials to minimise waste and downtime
- Work closely with pre-press bindery and production teams
- Maintain a clean safe and efficient work environment
- Meet production schedules while upholding quality standards
About You
You will thrive in this role if you have:
Trade qualification - Cert 3 in Printing
Proven experience operating aHeidelberg CDor similar sheetfed offset press
- Strong technical understanding of colour registration and print processes
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality work
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A strong safety mindset and reliability in a production environment
Flexibility to work shifts when required
