Job Schedule: 4/10 (Mon-Thu week days) 7 days a week on and7 days off; 1st shift.

Job Description:

The Facility Technician C will work under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications blueprints schematics and locally generated instructions. Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures work on facilities boiler systems and production equipment as well as work on HVAC Systems and perform general maintenance.

Essential Functions:

HVAC Maintenance - Work with troubleshoot and repair plant HVAC equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as HVAC units dehumidifiers boiler systems humidifiers etc.
Installation of new equipment.
6S general shop upkeep cleaning or organizing.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant HVAC experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related HVAC experience.
Valid state issued Drivers License.
Must obtain a Freon recovery license within two (2) years of employment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Knowledge and understanding of service and installation processes of industrial equipment.
Respirator and Breathing air devices and work on fire/rescue teams qualified.
Perform boiler maintenance: work with troubleshoot monitor and repair boilers.
Maintenance certification or training from a college or trade school is a plus.
Experience or training in one of the following: Mechanical HVAC Boiler and/or Electrical. State License in any of these fields is a plus.
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working with engineering blueprints process specifications and building layouts.

Maintenance repair and installation of boilers
Identifies analyzes diagnoses & repairs boilers
Checkout & troubleshooting of boilers
Provide coaching & guidance to other technicians on boiler repairs
